Height of X5 with tailgate raised?

[DaveR]

Does anyone happen to have an X5 and a tape measure (and maybe a stepladder)?

I'm about to build a garage and Mrs DaveR would like an X5 in the future. Brochure says that the '07> model X5 is 1776mm tall and elsewhere on t'interweb that a 1.85m tall person can stand under the top section of the tailgate when it's raised. That must make it pretty high.

I'd like to understand before building starts how high the ceiling of the garage would need to be to facilitate the shopping being unloaded in the dry when the weather is as st as it is today.

Thanks in advance.

dont for get if you have overhead doors to allow the height to the underside of the doors, not an insult to your intelegence just seen it before
