fuel consumption z4 2.2 2.5 3.0

can anybody help please. looking to buy a z4 in one of these engine size, can anybody give me some real life fuel consumption, alot of my driving will be around town,im driving at the moment a saab 93 conv. with the 2.0 turbo and its only giving 26-27 round town 31-34 on long runs so looking for more

26mpg around town from any petrol engine is very good. I only got that from a 2 litre Mondeo and only slightly more from a 530d!

If you want super economy then a BMW Sports car probably isnt the right call.

I would imagine a 6 cylinder Z4 will provide very similar fuel consumption figures to those you've quoted for your Saab.

Also, you'll find very little difference in MPG between the engine sizes you've quoted (so may as well get the 3.0 )

Z4 3.0i, getting 35mpg on a nice long run, but 26mpg around town.

There's virtually no difference between the consumption the 2.5 and 3.0 models in reality.

28-32 MPG from driven hard, or stuck in traffic in snow to clear motorway runs.

Have managed 33.2 MPG once when I was in an introspective mood.
