I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on what colour this E46 M3 and E46 Saloon I saw Friday and today. I haven't any pictures im affraid (I was driving). I first followed the M3 on Friday and had never seen the colour before, and again I saw one today but in saloon guise. It was lighter than tobacco brown and had what I can only describe as a pearl finish to it, almost Bronze. It was definatly not phoenix yellow (yuk). I am just intregued.

There was an individual colour which was darker than Sepang bronze. The name of it escapes me though and Google is not helping at the moment.

Here's mine, it changes shade quite a lot depending on the lighting conditions;

However, I'm pretty sure Sepang Bronze was only available on M5, M6 and M Roadster / Coupe, so was not available on the M3?

Sounds to me like an individual colour that could be specced on the M3 and M3 con. I looked at one a few years back...Can not remember the name but it was something like copper brass or copper....feck my minds that what it used to be. If I remember I'll post.
