BMW leather colours (E46)

The other half has asked me to look at getting a leather restorer for the FIL's 330ci. Does anyone know of anyway of getting specs of cars form the VIN (other than paying £1 a minute from BMW)?

Post a pic of the leather up here. One of the BMW beards will probably be able to identify the colour unless it's a rare/individual option.

It might have had Nappa or Montana leather too.

IIRC the standard leather colours were black, grey, imola red, cinnamon (orange), laguna seca blue, kiwi (yellowish).

Its grey of some sort, its looks the sames as our 330d (03). Im going to get some liquid leather restorer on their website it lists a few grey colours.
