E36 328 timing chain
Discussion
Hi all, Im looking at getting a 328 with fairly high miles. Looking on the internet it would seems that they are good for 200,000miles but if they go before you will hear some chain rattle to give you a sign of a worn tensioner. Is it a massive job to change?
The only other thing is that it needs a new clutch, now it doesnt seem a huge job for me as ive done a few in the past but apparently according to a friend of a friend they are a bit of a mission due to loads of electrics? Anyone know about that?
thanks in advance.
