Hi,

Just browsing autotrader to find something that I could insure on a classic policy and this popped up:

Advert

Now, from what I found on the internet it said Bi Turbo was a 3.2 built later then 1994. Also entering the reg plate, well that didn't help. One site popped out a BMW 530 and another just said Blue Coupe. Anyone able to confirm whether there was a 3.0 Bi Turbo in 1994 with 360bhp??

Thanks

nope, not a biturbo in the slightest, it's a 3.0, based on the 325, with about 240-ish bhp

it's probably closest to the US M3, and a good bit behind the euro M3.

It doesn't have an airbag, doesn't have electric rear windows, doesn't have parking sensors, doesn't have headlight washers, doesn't have side airbags, doesn't have traction control, doesn't have any turbos, and those aren't the original seats either.
doesn't have a bit of trim on the driver's side wing either, and looks like it has a scrape, apart from that, quite a truthful advert.

Too good to be true I guess. Thanks

BTW Parker's is saying the 325 E36 had same power as the 328 E36. Is this true?

the 328 had 1 bhp more, but way more torque, as the power was artificially capped.
in other words, it felt like a 2.8 until 4k revs, then just slowed down a bit
