E36 Rear Suspension Wobble

The rear end on the 323 seems to be wobbling from side to side when going over bumps, manhole covers, etc. Any idea what could be causing it? First thought was the top mounts which I'll try to check out tomorrow.

it's possibly just the alignment, but more likely the trailing arm bushes, which do wear out quite often
