Anyone selling an e39 530i Sport

As above really. I may have a buyer for my current vehicle so thought it best to put the feelers out just in case mine goes in the next week.

I'd be looking for a 2000MY or thereabouts 530i MSport saloon. Not fussed on transmission type and much more interested in condition and service history than mileage and extras. Although leather would be nice. Essentially, a good honest, well looked after example with lots of life left in it is what I'm after. Budget is upto £4k for the right one.

Lastly, something relatively local'ish to the North East would be beneficial... If any PH'ers have anything that fits the bill then please let me know.

Don't rule out a late 528. Mine is a 528 (2000) and I'm in the northeast if you wish to have a look to compare it with a 530.

I've met the chap who owns that and seen the car. It's a very lovely example.

You don't want a cheap 530i Sport - whilst you can get one for £4k these days I wouldnt recommend you do. Something like that Imola Red one is a far better buy.

Just make your you buy some nice interior trim parts to replace that nasty orange wood

The wood is awesome. As soon as I can find a good set of dark Vavona, my silver is going.

Wood trim in an all black interior looks disgusting, the silver looks much better.

Wood looks superb with a cream interior though.
