Z3 M - before I go and look at a few cars...
Discussion
Any advice before I look seriously for a Z3M? I have a few questions:-
were they all manual cars?
Did they all come with a power hood?
Was Air Con standard?
What commonly goes wrong and what should I look out for?
I would be looking for an immaculate low mileage roadster (the coupe does not appeal to me) as I want to buy a toy which wont depreciate too much over the years... I tend to keep my cars a long time!
Finally, is there a specialist forum anyone can point me to?
thanks

http://www.z3mcoupe.com/ and maybe the specific M Power section on Pistonheads
Thanks, didn't even know there was a section on here for M cars!
thanks guys, But i think I will give it a miss... Been reading about the rear diff mounting failures and that's such a risk on a car that i intended to keep for a while... looks to be a case of when not if...
I could live with the VANOS failure, that's a mechanical fix, with something that affects the integrity of the structure of the vehicle, best left alone as there are alternatives out there.
Guess i will have to look at an alternative
