Hi,

I have just purchased a 2007 335i Saloon and have a Dension 500 gateway from my previous car (E60 M5), I also have a BMW CD Changer. Speaking to BMW to get this fitted they have quoted me £350 to fit the CDC and then reprogram the car, seems expensive!!

Is there any other option to get the Dension unit to work in my car, I phoned an audio place near where I live and they said it's BMW only...

The car has the AUX port so if there are no options for the Dension I'll have to use the AUX instead and get it on eBay :-((

There must be something!!!

A good BMW indepdent BMW garage will be able to fit this and update your software.
I don't know about the 3 series, but on the E60, they will take over the CD changer output.
Should be around half the price of BMW I'd estimate.

Does anybody know anywhere near Manchester that can do this?

I have the correct connection in the boot of the car, it's just not "live" and then the software needs updating too, I can't believe BMW want £350 for it.

You need to find a dealer with the Autologic system, they have an option on their kit for the Dension.
My place charges for 30 mins to code it in, which is £35.

The car is pre wired for the changer already, but do you really need it with the Dension??
