123d dipping mirror

Hi all,

i have just collected a 58 plate 123d m sport couple (auto) and love it. however when i put it in reverse the wing mirror does not dip, i know you have to have the electric mirror switch at the drivers door, but it still does not dip.

i thought this feature came as part of the comfort pack??? i do not have folding mirrors, does this make a difference????

Have you tried sliding the switch over that allows you to adjust the mirrors? Should be on the door pull handle.

bmw2002 yeah tried moving the switch and trying it, but the mirror still didn't more.

do you know if you need auto folding mirrors for this feature, i don't have auto folding mirrors on my car.

I thought that they all had the dipping mirror option, it might be what's called a 'key option' so it might be worth popping into your local dealer and asking.

i also thought that had that option too. i'll pop in to the dealer and speak to them this weekend. .

as well as a great engine, its also pretty tail happy in the wet

Has it got iDrive? Pretty sure there is an option in there under vehicle settings to enable / disable the feature.

The reverse mirror only came with the folding mirror option, or the folding mirrors with the reactive dipping glass, it wasnt part of the comfort pack
