Help! Problem with my 325i E90!
Discussion
I have collected my car today from my local BMW dealership, after having some accident damage repaired.
When the car went in, as well as the cosmetic damage, there was an issue with the reverse light on the side of the damage.
Although, the area of impact was not in the light area, the reverse light stopped working.
They replaced the light but when I collected it, not only was the reverse light still not working, but neither was the cluster of lights surrounding it!
The plugged it into the diagnostic machine and it reported the problem to be with the electronics modual in the foot well. Again, no where near the accident damage.
They have said that the fact the lights were working when I took it in, then not when I collected it - even though they said they were working - is irrelevant and it's going to cost me £385!!
Does anyone know, if there is something they may have done when replacing the light unit that would have triggered this problem?
Thanks in advance
