Indy garage (or a handy mechanic) to fit a regulator
Discussion
Hi
The O/S windows are stuck in my E36 Coupe, and Google search shows this is a common problem.
I swapped with the N/S switch but the fault persist which at least eliminates the switch at fault. Also, I hear the motor clicking away (inside the door) when I depress the switch.
I've found a few DIY guides on the net to replace the regulator & motor (remove door card, drill off rivets etc..) but I admit the job exceeds my limited mechanical ability!
Question is, does anyone know a decent Indy who can replace the regulator (and maybe the motor) around East London?
Or maybe if there's any handy mechanic loitering on PH who are familiar with this job, and is willing to help me (I will compensate you), please drop me a mail!
Thank
Tom
