Time for some non-runflats. I only put around 3,000 / year on this car so I don't need the top dollar tires, just some middle-priced performance tires. I looked at the Yokohamas, Conti Extreme Contacts, The new Goodyear GT, Falken 452s, and a few others. I have settled on the Sumitomo HTRZ IIIs. Great reviews and realized that the IIIs are an improvement over the previous ones. I have earlier Sumis on my Jag and have been very happy with them, so the new ones sound great. The problem with the Zed 4 is that the back tires are 255/35/18 and the front is 225/40/18 and matching stock is difficult. The Sumis fit the bill. Bought, installed, balanced, tax, disposal, ect. for $716.26. I think I will be happy; we will see come Wednesday.
