I'm starting to toy with the idea of getting an E30 325 to use as a second car and for track days (this is the real reason 
).
Having never owned one (or any BMW) I don't know nearly enough about them. So what are their common weak points, both mechanical and body wise? Also, how well does the engine and gearbox cope with mileage of say 200,000+?
I don't usually go for old cars (E30's are nearly as old as I am!), but there's something about the E30 that I've always liked (and I'm a few pence short for an M3!), so any info is much appreciated
