BMW 135i coupe
Discussion
Hi all, am really tempted by 135i coupe (possibly new). Looks seem to be the main issue people have with em but i like the styling of the coupe alot. Anyone on here own/owned one? By all accounts the engine is superb, as are brakes. What are they like for ride (35 profile run flats??) and also what about build quality (rattle or other issues)? I'd presume they arent too bad for servicing as its not classed as an 'M' car. Any thoughts or feedback appreciated.

I find the ride better than my old Z4 Coupe which seemed a lot firmer on poorly maintained roads. Engine and brakes are great, the looks are a bit challenging from some angles but I've learnt to get used to it, mine has no badges and it's surprising how several people have asked if it's an M3 (people who I thought knew about cars too
).
).Mine is 3 weeks old, the ride is fine on UK roads. It is firmer than my Golf GTI it replaced but it's not as hard a ride as people make out. Engine is great, very smooth and builds speed easily and you can get 30mpg out of it if you drive sedately.
Possibly the best car I have owned. It's no M3, but it gets you most of the way there with far lower running costs. Servicing can be covered by the £250 service pack from BMW when bought new (up to 60,000 miles iirc). Also I have the DCT 'box and am very impressed with it.
