Z3 Buying advice needed please.

Hi all, a friend of mine is selling a Z3 2.8 on a T plate, 80,000 miles on the clock.
Thinking about having a look at it but having never owned one or a BMW fullstop im just wondering what sort of things i should be checking for or if anyone can point me in the direction of a site that will give me a buyers checklist.

Well its up for sale for around 3995 but i think i could get it for less beins as its a friend. Its very tidy for the year and is a one owner car with full BMW history.
Not sure if its the facelift model though as im not sure what the major differences are in the models.

Yeah i think your right and its good to have a heads up on any known gremlims with these cars from people in the know.
