I found an old container of Castrol SLX Long Life II HTHS 3.0 SAE 0W-30 in my garage - can someone kindly confirm if this is a fully synthetic oil?

Although I bought it for my Audi A4 3.0 (2004), would it be suitable for my 2001 BMW 740i 4.4?

Many thanks in advance

Look for the manufacturers' specifications on the back of the container.

Unfortunately it doesn't say if he oil is fully synthetic or not anywhere on the container. I am about 99% sure Castrol SLX is fully synthetic as I think The Edge replaced it but I just wanted to double check on here before using it.

Surely it's part of the spec - synth or not?
