Blown 850Ci and 850CSi trans and need replacements.

your post lacks any reference to what you req< thus makes no sense at all.

Additionally, an 850Ci was never available in the UK and will be automatic transmission whereas all CSi's were 6 speed manuals.

I need a 6 speed manual transmission for the 8 series.

Sorry to say this but the car's rocking horse poo. Are you converting to a manual from auto or looking for a replacement for an existing box? It may be easier to find a gear box specialist for a re-build. Would an M5 one fit?

Not that i know of, but i don't know enough about the 8's really

If the casing's solid retrofit a set of the Borg Warner straight cuts in there. Will probably cost more than the BMW item but will not fail you again.
