Hi
I was looking at buying a 1995 BMW 328i coupe. Reg. no is M494 LPM.
Can anyone please help me to find the service history for this BMW? It will help me very much. I really hope someone can help. I also wanted to know if the Nikasil problem was solved on this car. Please help me.

It has passed a new MOT, and I have checked the previous MOTs and one MOT it failed, with a millage lower than the previous years MOT. The failed MOT was then passed a few days later with the millage only few miles higher.

These are the MOTs with the confusing milage

Date of test:
27/07/2006
Certificate issued (Pass)
Odometer reading:
62,830 Miles

Date of test:
20/07/2007
Certificate issue refused (Fail)
Odometer reading:
56,961 Miles

Date of test:
23/07/2007
Certificate issued (Pass)
Odometer reading:
56,978 Miles

I hope someone can help me. I have driven the car little, and it starts up ok and drives well.
Many thanks for helping me.

avoid unless there is clear paperwork stating why there is a mileage "correction" - can't see why anyone would bother with such a low amount, but you have to ask how many miles it did between the 2 dates!
Its not that rare, plenty more fish in the sea

It is true. I asked the guy about it. The car is only 900 quid. The interior is in good condition, it starts well, drives well, I havent driven on the motorway. The problem is, the car could have done 100000 miles in that year as a rental car or something like that.
