I've posted before how my 120d had issues with trim and paint. Didn't like the ride or the 4 pot diesel. If I wanted a useful car I'd buy a Golf or I'd have a 3 Series again anytime.

Just my opinin smile

Really, Ok

We are selling all 3 car's that we currently own as were investing in a couple of properties. We will be keeping our next car for a couple of years so it needs to do everything well,

I narrowed it down to a nearly new Bmw 120d convertible but we could possibly go for a 320d

My experience is unusual, apparently. On paper it was ideal but.....

Guess the thing to do is list what you want a car to do and it'll become clear. Imo the One Series isn't suitable for adult rear seat passengers, for example. Coupe shape has a better ride, I've read.

And have fun trying a few smile

123d is a bullet - with remap, even sillier.

How are you buying a 'few properties' by selling a few cars?!! Ah, you're buying in Scotland?!

LOL! Indeed, were just not using either the Elise or the Corsa they are simply sitting in the garage so with the move it makes sense to free up some cash and better utilize for a couple of years, I've tried to get Mrs Boggy on board for a M3 but she's not buying it

Oh well, that's interesting about the 123d, this would obviously affect any warranty thou? Also been looking at 135i Cab too
