Airbag issue??

The airbag light came on yesterday, I stopped for fuel..no light, started car & the light on dash was lit?

I assume its the airbag light, right side of dash, red seated representation with solid red circle?

Is it a major issue, easily dealt with? I assume the airbags are not working now?
