Hi, I've just had fitted at a garage:

- new discs
- Braking pads
- Handbrake shoes
- Pad Sensors

How much would a fair price be, for a independent BMW specialist. just checking that I've had a good deal or not. Job seems well done.

That seems quite high, the parts price was about that for brakes all round on my 330 from ECP.

I'd think, discs around £100, pads around £60, shoes around £50, sensor £15, labour, perhaps 2 hours tops at £50 an hour.

So a total of £325?

BMW value service price for rear discs and pads is £199 (see below).

You would have to add on the handbrake shoes, not sure how much they are. I know they are accessible with the discs off, so maybe another half an hour labour?

Thanks Neil, that is nearly exactly what I was charged, looks like I have been treated well. Thanks for the info.
