X5 and iPhone video

I have a 2006 X5 with standard bmw supplied sat nav and tv. In the back there is an a/v in and out.
Anyone know if I can play video via my iPhone and hook up LCD screens on the rear head rests.

Short answer is no, it's sound in only (and from memory there's a problem with that.....but I can't remember what!)
