Does anyone know when the new 3.0 d engine was fitted to the 3 series? I'm looking for an used vehicle on the BMW site and ideally I would like this version.

I think all facelifted models (2008 on with LED taillights) have the 245bhp engine

e46? If so, around Spring 2003. All facelift e46 204bhp 330d's had 6 speed gearboxes. All 330cd's have the 204bhp engine.
