Lost phone directory E46

[tjw110]

I've got a E46 M3 (2005) with nav and the system has stopped showing then phone book directory from my Nokia E52, any ideas as to why, and how I can get it to?

I am not sure if this will help but I noticed on BMWLAND that they say deleting some of your texts will cure it.

I never had it happen to me so I am unable to verify.
