bmw e36 328i sport leather retrim or refurbish???
Discussion
It depends on what your intend on doing with the car. Most of the dye kits are very similar. They will make the seat look better, but they will be less supple, and over time it will begin to wear off.
I had the drivers seat and armrest done on our 323 by a professional about 30,000 miles ago and it is beginning to look tatty again. The rear of leather that flex less, such as the door handle, can last much longer. Think I paid £75 for the work.
Re-trims vary in quality massively. For leather that is a very close match in texture and colour to your BMW (so that you don't need to change the rear seats), expect to pay £300-40 per seat plus fitting.
