130i Limited Edition - Is it Efficient Dynamics?

Hi all,

I have just put a deposit on a 2007 130i M Sport 3 door Limited Edition (carbon black with lemon leather) and wondered if anyone knew whether it has the efficient dynamics package on it?

Also, I understand BMW only built 160 of the LEs, does anyone know the list of options they came with - despite loads of searching on the net I can't find a definitive list.

I can't answer your question for sure but ED came out on late 2007 (57 plate) cars. If they car you've bought is an 07 plate then it isn't an ED car.

Believe its from week 17 (2007) that the ED starting emerging, though not sure when on the 130.

I understand that the LEs were all built from mid May to mid Jun 2007 so it could be. It also was the new face lifted 3 door version that came out in spring 2007 but I still cannot find anything conclusive - has anyone got one of these and knows the answer?

Yes they were. The 3 door was based upon the 5 door facelift ED model. I remember looking at one in the showroom at Dick Lovett in Swindon when I bought my Z4 Coupe. They are a really lovelt spec car. In fact I saw one for the first time (on the road) only last week.

Does anyone have any idea of the standard spec of the LE

I know it has the following:

Carbon black paint
Boston Leather
Anthracite roof lining
18" motorsport alloys
Professional nav
Loudspeaker system
Professional radio
Bluetooth
USB for ipod
Electric memory seats
Xenons
Parking sensors front/rear
Storage package
Extended Lights package

Some I've seen advertised mention voice activation, is this part of the sat nav or and option?

Also, it has a button on the roof lining with SOS on, is that some system for contacting BMW???

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes SOS is or was when we had an X5, a way of contacting BMW in an emergancy.

I can't remember about the voice activation, I don't remember having it on my 318i. but it was a feature on the X5 and the 330D we had.

Very very nearly bought one of these. Superb spec and drives beautifully.
