Discount off a new BMW?

I've tried the search engine on here but can't find any threads on this. Could anyone give me an indication of what sort of discount is typically available on a new BMW these days?

Would have thought around 8% would be a minimum target. Probably depends on when you try to do the deal, i.e. last day of a quarter would be good!

Anything up to 11/12% used to be easily achievable however a year or two ago BMW tried to clamp down on this and put pressure on dealers. This was around the same time they banned dealers from using on-line brokers.

we got about £3000 off a 1 series - but like previously posted, they were desperate to get the sale in for the end of the quarter (not that I had actually worked that out when we went to look!)
