Hi guys,
Jus wondering if anyone knows of anywhere that does the KDS wheel alignment for my e46 M3 convertible in the Manchester/Stockport area..?
Dont fancy paying £250 at the stealers..
Also have a rattle coming from the roof area that i just cant seem to locate..any places that may be able to fix this?

Thanks for any pointers...

I took my E60 here:

About £150 as I recall (seem to remember BMW wanted well over £300).

I would not recommend that you use this garage. My experience was some 15 years ago but it was very bad...(sold a very dodgy car to a good friend of mine)

Fair enough - pretty sure they don't sell cars now though (didn't see any at least). Based on my experience of 15 weeks ago I would (and did) recommend them. Might be a but harsh to hold a second hand experience from 15 years ago against them but that's up to the OP.

Hi Cringle,

Check out Darren Wood BMW Specialists near Stockport:

www.darren-wood.com

They should be able to see to your rattle, and as for the alignment, they have a contact at Sapphire Garage (one of the biggest independent repair centres) who normally offers a good rate (sub £100).

Agreed, which is why I declared it to be so long ago. They are not a car dealer but had advertised an MG Midget (yellow one) in Autotrader. My friend ended up buying the car (his first and using all his savings). The car was a lethal rust bucket but had a good paintjob and an MOT. The engine also soon failed, as did the half shafts etc etc.

It was their car and they must have known about the prolific and extensive rust underneath and in the sills. Suffice it to say, its not a garage I would ever deal with after this incident. I agree it was along time ago but once a leopard...
