Hi Guys,

I live in Newbury Berkshire and was wondering if any of you guys could advise me on the couple of questions I have?

My split rim alloys are beginning to look nasty as the laquer is peeling quite badly on a couple and they're generally looking in need of a re-furb. Anybody know of a a reputable firm who will do a good job re-furbing at a reasonable cost? (Not skilled enough to try myself unfortunatly!)

Also I have a full service due shortly but have heard terrible reviews on the BMW dealers in Reading itself, anybody have any reccomendations on where I should take my Z4 for the best service overall...customer & mechanical?

...oh final question, any Z4 cruise days happening around the Newbury?Reading area anytime soon that I could tag along too?

Cheers
Deano.

DL Hungerford are meant to be pretty good, and I have had personal experience of DL Swindon who are very good.

Sticks.

I have been very happy with the service I have got from them over the last few months (Inspection I and fixing a few niggles).

Not too far from you for a refurb http://www.wheelrefurbishing.com/ (BJV Engineering). Very reasonable prices and proper strip, repaint, rebalance refurb. They did my CSLs in black chrome recently and I'd be happy to use again. At least £100 less than Lepsons (considered the best refurb company) for a set. Unless you are a real detail freak I'd say save yourself the cash and go with BJV.
