Hi folks,

I'm currently looking into picking up an E30 325i in M325 guise (or Sport as it was known in the UK). My question is in relation to cylinder head covers - is the colour difference in the following two pictures of any significance? Cheers.

Doesn't mean anything - they all came in silver from BMW but some people have painted them.

as above i think, both mine had silver (unpainted) ones. Both mine were late model 89 cars.

No significance whatsoever, cover in the 2nd pic has just been painted and the raised BMW lettering polished et la S14, S38 and Alpina covers.

I doubt that is a 'pukka'Alpina car.
