Avus Blue on E36
Discussion
I have a 1998 318is saloon in Avus Blue
It has a rust patch on the rear drivers side door a few inches across, just above the window that needs sorting. I have a quote to get it rubbed back and sprayed but warned me it could come back, so would simply replacing the door be a better option? I would like to find one the same colour, but is Avus Blue in one shade or many? Thanks
PS it's a well kept 318is saloon with 63k on the clock in good order with service history. What would you say it's worth?

Mine is montreal blue, and I bought an M3 rear bumper for it in Montreal blue (wasn't really looking for one when I found it, but the colour matched so I went for it). Had it on for a few months now, and I still cant see a difference in shade.
If you do go for a second hand door in the same colour, as far as dark blue colours are concerned on the E36, I'm pretty sure there's only Montreal and Avus. I see a lot more Avus on the streets than I do Montreal, but I don't know if that would be the same for second hand rear doors.
