Recently replaced all pads with a set of pagid and corresponding sensors from ecp but for some reason the pad warning light on dash remains on. what did strike me is that the packaging for the front sensor refers to a z3 even though the fitment is supposed to work for a 330i touring, saloon and coupe.

what was strange was that the connector looked different to the one i removed which was an OE part so not sure if that has anything to do with it

i did remove the rear sensor from the pad but did not replace it as it had not warn down so inserted it into the new pad thinking it would be fine

to my mind the causes could be the following

- ecp have the wrong sensor listed on their database so the current new sensor is wrong
- the rear sensor is not seated in the pad properly

any thoughts welcomed!

Switch the ignition on but do not start the car, wait a minute or so, the light will go out. (Hopefully).

Disconnect the battery and leave for 10 minutes then re-connect, if this doesn't stop the light coming on you'll need to change the sensor
