What is this style of BMW alloy wheel called?
Discussion
They are style 32, normally come in 17" but also exist in 18" for the E38.

Every BMW wheel, what size it's available in, what cars it was fitted to. It's in German though.

got these on mine - not seen many around - does anyone know if they were an option when new?
they've got a few marks on them so need to decide whether to refurb or just swap for a cleaner set of standard wheels

Style 49, known as Space for some reason. The early E39 was available with a sport option pack (not a separate Sport model at the time) and it came with those wheels, as well as a sport steering wheel, MTech suspension, sports seats etc.they've got a few marks on them so need to decide whether to refurb or just swap for a cleaner set of standard wheels
If you get a print-out of the spec of your car, that would confirm whether it had the sport pack optioned - however, those wheels don't on their own denote the sport pack, but they were included as part of that pack.
Anyway, getting a print out of the spec will also confirm what wheels were on your car when it left the factory. But they were an OE option, yes.

Can you only get the print out direct from BMW or is there someone on the web that has this info?Anyway, getting a print out of the spec will also confirm what wheels were on your car when it left the factory. But they were an OE option, yes.
