Hi,

I currently have a 118d MSport which I have had and I am looking at trading it in, I am wondering if people think I am getting a good deal realtive to trade in price etc.

When bought previous car - it was easier to work out what was a better deal as didnt have part-exchange to work out.

I have a 09 plate 118 d MSport which I bought at 16995 - and they are valuing this at 16000 for part exchange - giving me very little negative equity (£120). I am looking at this car - http://www.harryfairbairngiffnockbmw.co.uk/usedbmw... which is 320i but is quite nice (yes taste is subjective). I thionk I can get this for £18500, is this a good deal for this car and what do people think of feal world mpg of a 320i?

I ultimately would like to trade in for something else in 12 months etc so concerned that I will have a bigger negitve equity on this car, come trade in time.

Any help I can get from youis appreciated

Thanks,

Fox-

The 320i is for people who want a BMW keyring not a decent Coupe.

That particular example looks hurrendous - I'm amazed its even being offered for sale as an Approved Used car given it appears the previous owner has actually PAINTED OVER the rear light clusters?! Not to mention the fact its absolutely base spec with no options and arguably the worst engine in the E92 range.

You can get a 330i for this money.

Yes, there were / are a lot of issues with that engine. Have a look on E90 post.
