Evolve or Superchips ?

As the title suggests ... for a remap of my 177ps 320d auto .... are they both equal or do people feel one is better than the other ?

Superchips Bluefin - £405

Evolve switch - £535

Was going for Bluefin as previous good experiences of Superchips .... but now considering Evolve even though dearer as may be smoother and Evolve have more 'specialised' BMW reputation ?

I can't fault the work the Evolve boys did on my M3 a couple of years ago, the features in the BMW monthly mags rate their diesel work very highly too. I've no experience of Superchips but they've been in the game a long time now and are the reference IMHO. I'd say Evolve

You should take a look at the WOW TUNING GROUP also. Rubbish name but Superchips are currently trying to lure their programmer to them as SC no longer have one. Wow are also VERY big on diesels. Do not underestimate their ability.

Superchips are the market leader..

Not sure about other company, have no good or bad reports. Just watch out for the ones which promise a specific figure above what the competition say they can get. A good ECU'er will get the maximum desired gains depending on the car, day setup...etc

My 330ci got only 7bhp, another 330ci may get 12 bhp..it depends..

Its Superchips for me....you also get a £200 discount on advanced track driver training....(which is my company, but I remain totally inpartial!)

Had you considered E-maps or DMS?? Believe both are good for BMW (I have e-maps on my 118d and no problems what so ever)
