I will be conducting a trial of a fuel additive/treatment call 'Magic Bullet' and will be posting the results of my experience on here for anyone that might be interested. I will be mainly be looking for evidence of changes to my MPG on my commute to work.

PLEASE NOTE: This will be an unbiased test, I have no affiliation with the product/company and there is no financial incentive. All they have asked is that I report my honest experience (hence this post/blog)

I will be testing it out on my e46 M3 Cab (2003). She has 36K on the clock and has a full service history.

I have been keeping track of my MPG for the last few months by looking at the cluster trip computer and recording fuel consumption using an iphone app. I do a 60mile round trip to work each day on a mixture of b and a roads. There are the occasional overtaking manoeuvres, but I generally keep to the speed limit.
So far the results are (see below), and the trip computer is optimistic to say the least (showing +2.5mpg over the actual mpg shown by the iphone app):

13th sept: 23.43mpg
17th sept 24.52mpg
27th Sept 23.72mpg
5th Oct 24.24mpg
11th Oct 24.11mpg
15th Oct 24.16mpg
24th Oct 25.00mpg (using snow/lowest SMG setting)
28th Oct 25.27mpg (using snow/lowest SMG setting)

(Background)
I met Steve from 'Magic Bullet' when he attended my event this summer (TVR ROAR 2010) http://www.pistonheads.com/tvr/default.asp?storyId...
He wanted to attend the show and demonstrate the qualities of his fuel treatment on a rolling road. That in its self is quite rare (putting his money where his mouth is) so we welcomed their attendance.

The fuel treatment was tested by putting 2 TVRs on the rolling road, doing 3 power runs, adding the treatment, sending the cars out on a 20min run and then doing another 3 power runs. The results were impressive and there was a noticeable improvement in the power curves, drivability low down and a significant cleaning out of the engine

I recently bought an M3 to replace my Tuscan and my e36 328, so I have my commuting and a fun car in one! Having read their claims about mpg, I was keen to see if there were any noticeable improvements in MPG on my daily drive to work.
