Is it possible to adjust the E46 M3 (2004) Headlights to suit driving in europe, ie so that they illuminate slightly to the right instead of left as they do in the UK?

Yep, there's a little switch that requires moving on each headlamp unit. I believe the detail is shown in the manual.
