I just had to have 6 new injectors,plugs and coils fitted to my 330i msport, which is a 57 plate and only down K30 miles. Is this usaul on such a new car?? Thankfully it is still under BMW approved warranty, so no cost to me - phew. I was expecting better from Nazi technologie !!

Certainly doesn't sound normal, what was wrong with the car?

Yes, I thought it was odd to need to change them at only k30 miles. The car was down on power and hesitated in 2nd or 3rd gear when the revs were below 2000 or so. It was a dealer supplied car, so perhaps they had some faulty coil packs ??? Just picked it up and it feels a lot different, so will see what it's like over the weekend when I get a chance to really test it !!

I think this problem is more common than it ought to be on the newer direct injection engines. Our 525i (Same 3 litre N53 engine as a 57 plate 330i) had injector replacement at 2 years old as well...
