This may be a stupid question, but the plate on 330d shows pressures to be 2.7 and 3.1 or 270 and 310.
Am I correct in saying that this means 27 and 31psi?

The 2.7 and 3.1 are in all probability the pressures in bar.

To convert to PSi, multiply by 14.5.

Check tyre pressures monthly when cold - I never used to be too hot on this but seeing the cost of tyres increasing I reckon you could get 10 to 15% extra life out of a set of tyres by keeping them correctly inflated as well as the extra fuel economy savings if they were under-inflated.

HTH

P.S. Don't forget the spare - inflate it to the highest pressure listed of any listed for the car.

Ok Thanks. That makes the rears 45 psi, that seems a lot?

Have a close look at the plate; there's usually multiple sets of pressures depending upon tyre size and how heavily the car is laden.

Probably about right for a 30 profile 19 inch..... I'm guessing?
