Lumbar when ping!
Discussion
Was sat in my e46 M3 yesterday and tried to get my phone out of my pocket to connect it to my head unit. Whilst I was doing this I push back slightly into the seat and there was a twang sound that came from the lumber region.
At first I thought it was the seat clicking back into position (tilt forward for access into the rear seats (convertible), but after 30mins of driving my back started to ache. Checked the passenger vs. the driver seat and the lumbar has defo broken. Having looked at Real OEM, it looks like a metal spring goes accross the lumber region, so I'm hoping this can be repaired.
Does anyone have any experience of taking one of these seats appart? Ca it be easily fixed?
Cheers,
