e46 330d auto Remap Good/Bad experiences?

Just about to pick up my 03reg 69000 mile 330d auto touring and am now worried about the auto boxes and also the turbos life span. I have traditionaly Superchiped all my cars as I own the very good Bluefin system which has caused no problems to previous non BMW cars. But now after reading lots of negative things I am worried that this may cause premature turbo or auto gearbox failure. Has anyone had a positive experience or am I tempting two large bills to arrive quicker than if I kept it standard? The other thing is that the car is under an extended BMW warranty and if I had one of the above problems I have the ability to reset the car to standard with the Bluefin should it go to a dealership for repair. What I want to know is whether they can diagnostically tell if the car was previously remaped and void the warrenty? Hopefully there are some positive stories out there otherwise I would have purchased a manual to save at least one big bill!
