hi i have a slight problem with my 5 series(2004),when the engine is cold and you start off and get up to speed,between gears 5 and 6 i have a drop in revs and it then flicks back but keeps doing it untill the engine gets very warm then it goes away ive only had the car a month and its under warranty so if a serious problem is occuring then i need to know can anyone one help,many thanks for any ideas.

No help to you but I have the same on my E39 between 4 and 5. I suspect my box is on it's way out but as per advice here, I have a good place who specialise in auto boxes to take a look first.
