I have run flats on my car but I always like the idea of having a spare just in case. I'm looking to buy a space saver wheel but I'm not sure what size/offset I should be looking for. Also, where can I buy one - besides a main stealer?

I got the full dealer kit on Ebay for just over 100 which came with the jack and tyre wrench etc. Worth looking there.

I bought my spacesaver kit from an ad off here in the classifieds.

However I often see the same ad popping up on Ebay for the complete kit for £175.

BTW, if you have a Touring you supposedly need an new bit of boot trim to fit it in and it's about £50. I just padded mine round the edge with bubble wrap/shopping bags and removed the original piece. When I sell the car I'll add the original piece back and sell the spare wheel kit seperately.

Yes, silly isn't it. Car is built with a proper wheel well, and then on cars with run flats they line it with a carpet that isn't quite round and the space saver doesn't fit. So you then have to buy the carpet liner for a 'non runflat' car. Been there, done it!
