Anyone shed any light on this?
My 528's squirters don't appear to jave any pressure behind them so the water just dribbles out of the jets.
You can hear the pump going and I've disconnected the pipe under the bonnet and water is coming out, but not at the jets.
The rear washer is fine.
The concentrate bottle hgad run dry and I thought that might have been the problem - but still the same after refilling.
I did use washing up liquid as I had run out of screenwash so my only other thought was to try blowing out the jets with the air line at the garage.
Any other suggestions gratefully received
Matt

Get a sewing pin or needle and clean out the nozzles.

If it's the same as the X5 there are small filters in the washer bottle. Pull out the pump and there is a rubber grommit in the bottle, pull this out (it's the top of the filter) and clean.
There may not be enough pressure to blow through the jets.

This fixed my headlight washers te other day.

If the intensive works ok, it's either the filters or the cold has popped one of the joints along the pipeline. If neither work, either jets or filters, or both. But I'd check the pipework thoroughly, first.

Thanks guys - sorry to be dim but where is the pump on the main tank? It looks like the top of the tank disappears through the side of the wing?
I assume there are 2 pumps - one on each tank? If not the pump on the concentrate tank is easy to get too. I'm sure it won't be that straightforward! smile

Check under the bonnet insulation nearest the bulkhead. That's where mine normally pops apart in cold weather and it's easier to get to than the stuff in the O/S wheel arch.

+1 . My M5 was a dribbler and the first port of call was the area under the bonnet. Both tubes were loose and I refitted and cable tied them on and they were back to normal. I suggest that if you can hear the pump going, the pipes may be the issue.

Also had to fix 3 of mine today. Seems to be a very common problem when the pipes freeze.

finally got time today to remove the wheel and arch liner - the middle pump was weak - all it seemed to be was remove the pump from the bottle, remove the rubber gromet it sat in and take some crud away and its all fixed!
20min job and restored the Norris' to full working order! smile
