common problems with 2004 520I SE??

Hi Folks,

My Mate has offered me his 520I SE, was just wondering if you guys know what the common problems are with these cars, and are the expensive to fix? reliable etc?

I have a 2004 530 SE with 34K miles (it is a more powerful car than the 520). Mine is very reliable and I never had any problem since I bought it nearly 5 years ago. The only thing that I do not like are the run flat tyres but apart from this it is very good car with a bulletproof engine
