Ive got two one year old X5s and am considering a change to an X6 . The X5s have been great but dont need something just so big . Looking for feedback and preferred spec on the X6 model ....as ever all your thoughts / input / opinions on the model are very much appreciated thanks Barry (Glasgow)

Its certainly a Marmite car but I'll admit to liking them. I would avoid white and choose a 'safe' colour and wheel combination - I think dark colours suit it best as do bigger wheels.

nice car. a bit too much in your face and people will probably want to steal it - especially in the state the country is in now.

Think if it was me and I didn't need something as big as an X5 I would give serious consideration to a Cayenne - the new model looks a whole lot better (hardly difficult) and the interior is great. If budget allows the Turbo is very quick.

(I can't stand the X6 so I am obviously biased!)

Failing that I've got a soft spot for fast estates, especially the RS6.

Very very tempted myself but am a bit put off because only a few seem to have the 4th gen iDrive (ghey I know), which all F10 5ers have anyway.

I would say that until you've had a proper look round one in the flesh reserve all judgement - up close they are superb and very big thumbup
