BMW Warranty for private used 130i?

Worth it from BMW direct for a used 130i bought privately?

I'm getting a quote of £341 for comprehensive cover, £100 excess which seems pretty reasonable.

What's the real differences between levels of cover options?

I extended my warranty on my 335d for a similar price. It gives me piece of mind as BMW are less likely to wriggle out of claims providing they are valid.

The 130i is a sweet engine, N/A so less to go wrong. However still has a high pressure fuel rail and pump which can be a lot + the rest. I'd still get it though. But go for comp, especially if it has idrive

Nothing to add on the warranty but just one to say I'm really enjoying the 130 I've had for a few months!

How much? Just extended mine on my '05 325i for £468 a year with £100 excess and Emergency Cover. Seems expensive compared to the OPs 130i
