X5 4.4 exhaust mod

HI,

I'm looking to make the X5 sound more like it should, but don't like the idea of spending a wedge of cash on an expensive system.

I have heard and read that removing the resonator and replacing with an x-pipe is a good option- does anyone have experience of this on their car and who would be able to do the work for a reasonable amount. I have searched long and hard and all i find is American videos showing the conversion.

Any help would be great.
